I'm Luke van der Hoeven. I specialize in web design and Ruby on Rails application development. I've been creating some pretty cool stuff over the last three years. My philosophy on web development is that clean, minimalist design and intuitive, predictable functionality should never be separated. Good design is giving the user what they need to function. Nothing more or less. Solid functionality is an application that functions the way you'd expect. Every time.
